About Us

Our Story on Alaska's Rugged Coast

Alaska Coastal Marine has carried hunters and anglers along one of the most dramatic coastlines on earth — pairing genuine wilderness access with the comfort of a well-run charter vessel.

Who We Are

Built Around the Water

Based in Homer, Alaska, our crew has spent years working these waters — carrying hunters, anglers and adventurers into country that simply cannot be reached by road. The coastline is our workplace and our passion.

We believe the best Alaska hunts combine real wilderness with real comfort. That is why every trip is built around a stable, well-appointed charter vessel that serves as a warm floating base camp, moving with you as the country opens up.

Our transportation and onboard accommodation services are separate from professional hunting guide services, but we are always glad to help coordinate arrangements and explain what applies to your trip.

What Sets Us Apart

What You Can Count On

A coastal adventure only works when the details are handled. These principles shape every trip we run.

Local Coastal Knowledge

Decades navigating the Gulf of Alaska means we read the tides, weather and terrain that only experience teaches.

A Comfortable Base Camp

Warm cabins, hot showers and a place to dry your gear turn remote hunting into a genuinely comfortable experience.

Flexibility & Mobility

The vessel moves with the sign and the weather, so every day you hunt the best country available.

Care for the Resource

We hunt responsibly and encourage practices that keep Alaska's wildlife and wild places healthy for the future.

The Outer Gulf Coast

Remote bays and inlets where brown bears, black bears and deer roam well beyond any road.

Coastal Islands & Fjords
